Transplant outdoors in full sun and rich, well-drained soil a week after last spring frost when soil has warmed to at least 70°F. Sow seeds directly outdoors in warm, frost-free climates. Water consistently at soil level and mulch to retain moisture. Grow at least two plants to ensure cross-pollination and fruit production.
