This vigorous and showy vine produces masses of dazzling scarlet blossoms with deep green foliage. Perfect for beautifying fences, arbors and trellises. Also good for covering bare slopes and tree stumps. Great for dry areas. It won an All America Selections Gold Medal in 1939.

Direct sow seeds in spring in moist, well-drained soil when soil has warmed to 64°F. Morning Glory flowers best in a sunny location protected from wind. For earliest bloom, start indoors six weeks before last frost date. Tolerates poor soil and prefers drier conditions but be sure to water during dry periods.
For best germination, soak seeds in water overnight before planting.
