Sow in rich, moist soil four to six weeks before last spring frost. Time your plantings to mature while weather is cool, usually late spring or early fall. Harvest main stalk when it reaches 8-10″ tall and no more than a few flowers are open. Kailaan is more heat tolerant than broccoli.
