Mizuna grows best in cool weather and can withstand considerable frost. Select a location with full sun or light shade in warmer climates. Plant in very early spring. fall or winter in mild climates. Sow seed thinly in rows and cover lightly with soil. Keep evenly moist for best growth.
Whole plants can be cut for harvest, or leaves can be cut with scissors a few inches above the soil for continual harvest.
